Hi Everyone,
The concerts and events are now planned for 2024! Please check out the Concert and Event Listing for the dates, times and details of the events. A reminder is that the dates are October 2-7, 2024. Also, to answer some additional questions, each concert and event is run by a particular group and/or person. There is not one ticket that can be purchased for all them. Some concerts/events are free, some are by paid tickets, some tickets are purchased at the door, and some by donation. The explanation is given under the event listing. Also, we do not have a mailing list set up to e-mail updates. All those can be found on the website.
Tickets have been on sale for Saturday night's concert with Chris Collins and Boulder Canyon performing a tribute to John Denver at the Aspen District Theatre. The concert has been moved from the Wheeler Opera House to the Aspen District Theatre due to they are undergoing renovations this year during that time period. However, the tickets for the concert are available either by calling the Wheeler Opera House's Box Office at 970-920-5770 or toll free at 866-449-0464 or on line at aspenshowtix.com
Others performing at the Snowmass Chapel this year include Ron Matthews, Dave Stratford, Singer/Songwriter Showcase, Music at the Aspen Chapel, and the JD Project Band will be coming over from Italy this year to perform a show.
As in year's past, you can pick and chose what you would like to attend. It's totally up to you! Also, consider visiting the beautiful John Denver Sanctuary in Aspen, or perhaps the Windstar Land Conservancy in Old Snowmass, or you can also visit the location where John Denver's Rocky Mountain High album cover photo was taken. There is also the Maroon Bells, as well as many other scenic areas to visit. Fall is a great time in the Rocky Mountains! The beauty of the colors and the majesty of the mountains are breathtaking. You will see why John Denver was so inspired in the place he called home!
